The Black Butte Ranch Lakeside - or Bistro/Pool/Recreation Complex - was the only project recognized with three awards.
Three international awards went to a Portland-based architecture firm to celebrate the use of wood as material.
Portland-based Hacker Architects received three Wood Design Awards this January for one project in Central Oregon. The Wood Design Awards celebrate projects at the forefront of architecture and design.
Hacker won a merit award for Lakeside at Black Butte Ranch and two sponsorship awards from the Sustainable Forest Initiative and Western Red Cedar.
